Many counselors offer a free 15-minute phone conversation by which prospective clients are invited to judge what is often and somewhat enigmatically referred to as a ‘goodness of fit’. It seems to me that it is quite unreasonable to expect such a brief ‘chat’ to provide the basis for any such judgment.
